Made by Joel featured an awesome marble run made out of a cereal box last month and we finally got around to making this morning.
I just love how simple and effective his designs are and also that his kids are Jamin's age, so the toys always seem to be at his skill level. Look at the level of concentration in this shot...
Jamin 'helped' me make it by singing me playschool songs and colouring some bits and pieces in. I don't think we will even need Danny's engineering skills to finish it off this time like some of the other toys that we make. A fun mornings activity!
Mid way through the process
Jamin moved straight from the table to the rug for a better play space.
It looks great but I am a bit worried about Kael and the marbles.
ReplyDeleteyes! Jamin already has strict instructions to only play with it when Kael is in bed. So it lives up next to Opa's picture. :) All going well so far...
ReplyDeleteWe made the same thing out of a large tomato box and used ping-pong sized balls to get around the whole smaller kid choking thing. It also meant he could play with it and enjoy the fun too.
