My beloved sister Linda arrived on the plane after a whirlwind week in New York. She is a photographer & writer combining both of her passions in a great blog called '100 Days of Grateful'. We featured in todays post with some beautiful pictures of our family. I actually took the one of Kael in the top left, much to my delight. She gives a good description of our reunion and what it has been like to be so far apart for the past 4 months.
Jamin became more & more excited the closer we got to the airport. He has had a special bond with his Aunty, who lived across the road & visited most days when we were living in Toowoomba. She describes herself as a 'butterfly aunty' - she's flits in & out being bright & interesting, then off she goes to work or the gym. We have a few weeks of her all to ourselves now & she can't even drive to get away.
We have a busy time planned with outings, festivals & hikes in Salt Lake City happening this week, then a trip to Canada for my cousins wedding the week after that. This will be the maiden voyage for our new behemoth caravan so hopefully it will incorporate the 5 of us nicely. Hope that she brought some ear plugs!
How nice and exciting to have your sister come and visit!! xo
