Danny brought a Thermomix cook book back from Australia & I found a recipe for Calzones to try out. For those of you who haven't heard of them, they are basically pizza's folded over with all the topping in the middle. A little bit like a pie.

Here is the assembly...

I used mozarella fresh from the Farmer's Market, tomatoes from a farm fresh booth on the side of the road & basil freshly cut from my very own herb garden.

And the finished product!

The verdict was that they were delicious but a little on the doughy side. My favourite part was the mozarella cheese. Yum!
